… i get by with a little help from my friends…

story on this’  about a year and a half back i did a version of this knife and camera, it said love machine.  never did anything with it(it was on the site, may of 09)  then i re did it with xanders knife recently.  then i got goldchains comment about the berrics shirt, which i had never seen.  but i thought the quote was good, but i thought it was on the berrics shirt.  so i then talked with mr. new mex. and he was mentioning the shirt and people would think it was a rip off.  i tried looking for the shirt previously but couldn t find it.  being that i m not a 14 year old skate rat, i never go to the berrics website.  anyways with mr new mexico s help i saw it , he told me it was their splash page, so basically the entire world of skating has seen it and probably would think i bit it.  

 

i went to taos new mexico this past saturday where i spent an evening with goldchain talking art and bullshitting and came to find that the comment on everyman about the graphic , which i thought was funny, was his(goldchains and not on a shirt already) and his analysis on the everyman knife graphic as compared to the “we shoot skaters” one on the berrics. so i in turn am using this one as a take on a graphic, whether or not the imagery was used first or second who cares this one is more in your face, and a holla to all the people who view a grass roots site, comprised of contributers and over the hill body builders

 

anyways i liked the graphic and it was cool to be able to quote goldchain who like the idea of stabbing skaters i guess, he fuckin hates em…  actually he doesn t like the berrics we shoot skaters because they don t shoot ’skaters’ only industry dudes, fair enough.

 

this shirt is sick,  goldchain,  thanks a lot,  send me that graphic you were talking about and let s make it happen.

 

this shirt is at 360 now, and i ll make you one on the spot if you don t like the colors, or if you want a hoodie or something bring one and i ll do it live for you for 10 bucks,  other than that, through the weekend this shirt is 15 bucks, then it goes to 20- don t even think about it johnny
